Derwentside Domestic Abuse Service

General Information

Derwentside Domestic Abuse Service can assist those experiencing domestic violence by providing advice & support.

They can make referrals to other agencies, such as solicitors, housing benefit agencies, refuges & counselling.

Services are provided within Stanley, Consett, Durham and Chester-le-Street areas.

All services are free of charge.

Hours Available

Office hours are from 9:00am to 5:00pm. There is a confidential answerphone service outside of these hours.

Special Provision

Volunteers who work with service users are recruited and trained on a regular basis.

Accessible Premises

No disabled access however arrangements are made to see clients with mobility problems in alternative places.
