We want to know what you think about policing in County Durham and Darlington. You can tell us your views and get involved in a number of ways:

		Police Authority and committee meetings Members of the public are welcome to attend our full Police Authority meetings and committee meetings which are held quarterly. Please click the picture to the left to find out more information about our committee structure, the terms of reference for our committees and for details about the work of the Authority.
		Other Police Authority public meetings We welcome local people to join us at our frequent Your Police Your Say surgeries, Public Community Consultative Group meetings (PCCGs) and the annual council tax meeting. 		Policing Priorities roadshows The Police Authority, with partners, hosts annual roadshow events at supermarkets and shopping centres for local people to vote on their policing and community safety priorities for the following year. 		Online surveys and polls You can take part in various surveys or questionnaires which we publish throughout the year. Please click on the picture to the left for further details, or visit our Topic of the Month page to add your views.
		The Citizens Panel If you are over 18, live in County Durham or Darlington and would like to tell us what you think about policing in your area, our Citizens' Panel gives you the opportunity to do so. Our panel has around 800 members who receive postal surveys on policing topics, to help us understand what the public want from the service, and how policing affects their lives. 		Police Authority Competitions Each year Durham Police Authority hold different competitions, to encourage local people of all ages to find out about the work of the Authority and how residents can get involved. Please click on the picture to the left to find out about this year's competition.
