Intergenerational Event - June 2010

The Meadows School, Spennymoor

In addition to the Intergenerational Event at Newton Aycliffe, we have also began an Intergenerational project at the Meadows School in Spennymoor.

This work is aimed at, not only breaking down the barriers between age groups, but also between young people and the police.

We held an event on 10 June 2010 which was a resounding success and discussions are underway with the school to implement a sustained project. Furthermore, an additional positive outcome is that there are now links being developed between the local PCSO's and the school.
