To monitor and hold the Force to account for the delivery of its Protective Services responsibilities covering the following 8 strands:

• Major Crime Investigation.
• Serious, Organised and Cross Border Crime.
• Counter Terrorism and Domestic Extremism.
• Civil Contingencies.
• Critical Incidents.
• Public Order.
• Strategic Roads Policing.
• Protecting Vulnerable People.
