Benefits to Local Communities

This structure, together with an upgraded communications system and digital radio technology for all frontline offices, has improved local responsiveness and resilience.

To develop closer links with communities, there are also community inspectors with specific geographic responsibilities who are supported by dedicated beat officer teams, and core response teams operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
