Value For Money and Productivity Scrutiny Panel

Formerly the Value for Money and Productivity Scrutiny Panel, this Panel meets as part of the Force Value for Money Board.

Terms of Reference

To oversee and monitor the Force’s proposals for improving Value for Money and Productivity and the introduction of the Force Operating Model and subsequent impact period (new duty).
To work alongside the Force’s Value for Money Board in supervising and driving the work of the Service Improvement, Citizen’s Journey and Service Support and Infrastructure Programmes.
To consider in depth appropriate elements of the key work programmes with a view to ensuring that Value for Money and Productivity considerations are fully accounted for in the proposed business benefits.
To undertake benchmarking of business processes with other forces to ascertain best practice.
