Hetherington medieval village (Wark)

This is the site of the deserted medieval village of Hetherington, which was first recorded in 1279. Since 1817, only one farm has stood here. Some earthwork remains of earlier buildings are visible on the north and east sides of the farmstead, and includes the sites of the buildings.
